One of my favorite parts of being a blogger, and a fashion enthusiast, is discovering new to me brands. When a new brand aligns with my aesthetics, I can’t help but swoon over every piece. Recently, through the magical world of Instagram, I came across a french brand called Senlis. (more…)

A Red Skirt For The Holidays
pleated skirt // turtleneck sweater c/o // circle bag c/o // nude heels
Now that Thanksgiving is over I am in full Christmas mode! Over the break I helped my parents decorate their house and put lights up outside. Christmas music was streaming, Hallmark movies were on, and I started to organize my holiday events. This is my favorite time of the year. Everything is so lovely and happy. It’s truly magical.
A Skirt Made For Spring
Since full skirts became a trend, I have been searching for the perfect one. I have always been a mini-skirt type of gal, but knew I would relish in the femininity of a full skirt. The problem? I couldn’t find one that was right for my body. I may be little but I have curves. A full skirt adds to my curves causing me to look a little heavier than I am. Well finally I found the perfect one from Express! It is not only pretty, it is affordable. Which is always a plus in my book. The skirt is not too full, hits right above my knees and comes in a myriad of colors. I instantly fell in love with this wild orchid color, but I am also eyeing the pale gray. I want to wear it everyday if I could! I even put it on just to lie in bed and read a book pretending I am in a Kate Spade Ad…..
While we are celebrating our last day of winter (finally!!), I am itching to start wearing my spring clothes. Wear a sweater with a bright color and leopard shoes as a look you can wear to start transitioning into spring. As the days get warmer I will switch out the sweater for a white blouse and beige shoes. This skirt is so beautiful, I can’t wait to wear it again!

Fall Skirts
Ah, summer. Remember the good old days of endless dresses and skirts? Seems so far away as the days are getting colder. When the temperature drops we all tend to jump the gun and dress as if we are the 3rd Olsen twin. Since it isn’t a winter wonderland quite yet, we can still bare our legs with fall skirts. From pencil to full, pair fall skirts with a sweater or a blazer, and throw on some boots or heels for the perfect fall look. Most of my skirts are mini or pencil skirts, but would love to purchase a few fuller skirts like this one from Marc By Marc Jacobs, for a feminine and classic look.
