With the start of the sunshine season, it is time to splash into summer with Lilly Pulitzer! I most definitely have a love affair with the iconic fashion brand and the woman behind it. Lilly Pulitzer’s clothes are an American classic. With the iconic clean-cut and vibrant shifts, it is the essential summer wear. The new line is amazing and full of the colorful signature Lilly prints. I will definitely be purchasing a few shifts to wear to all of the parties I have lined up this summer!
What I love about the fashion brand the most is that you can never be in a bad mood while wearing a Lilly– that is for sure! In the wise words of Lilly herself “anything is possible with sunshine and a little pink”.
Now that Memorial Day is over it’s time to show off your pearly whites! I do not believe in the rule white only after Memorial Day, for me white is acceptable after Easter. Heck, it’s acceptable all year round– hello winter whites! I love to wear whites and creams, especially in the summertime. I think it looks so sharp and elegant! I own a few white dresses and they are my go-to outfits during the day in the summer. If you are uneasy with wearing white, try starting with something simple like a white bag or shoes, or wear a colorful top with white jeans. For those of us who love to wear it, enjoy the season!
