This maybe the greatest thing I have heard in a while—J.Crew collaborates with Paperless Post! I did a little dance around my room when I received the email. Now you can host a party and send digital invitations to your friends and family by one of your favorite retail companies! Of course the cards are so darn cute and gives me an excuse to plan a party!

If you have been following my instagram account or read this past post, you would know that I recently have become obsessed with clean eating. With my rekindled love for healthy food, I just had to buy Clean Eats by Alejandro Junger. It has over 200 healthy, clean recipes to make and I could not wait to create my first recipe from it! Since I am completely in love with salmon, I decided to make the spiced salmon with blueberry vinaigrette recipe…… delicious!!
Here is the recipe, enjoy!
For the blueberry vinaigrette:
1 cup of blueberries
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
juice of 1/2 lime
1 tablespoon of coconut nectar
3 tablespoons water
pinch of sea salt
Then puree all the ingredients until smooth.
Next mix the spice rub:
2 teaspoons fennel seeds
6 cardamom pods
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
pinch of freshly ground black pepper
Sprinkle it all over the Salmon.
Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet until melted and hot. Place the salmon on the skillet (spice side face down) for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the salmon back over and place in the oven (preheat for 350 degrees) for 4 to 5 minutes.
As a side dish I steamed asparagus.
And voila! Dinner is served!
I highly suggest buying Clean Eats, it has tons of delicious recipes to try!

Earth Laughs In Flowers–Ralph Waldo Emerson
Yesterday my mother and I went flower shopping to brighten up our day since it was so gloomy outside. The place we went to is this huge garden center where they have every type of flower and plant that you can imagine. We ended up taking home pink tulips, which is one of my favorite flowers!
