After Reading Harpers Bazaar’s “How To Wear a One-Piece Swimsuit”, I am seriously considering getting one. The last time I wore a one-piece suit was during gym class when we had to swim laps my sophomore year of high school. It was not chic at all and I have never looked back, until now. After searching for one-pieces online, it didn’t take long for me to realize how far they have come. They are chic, sexy and tasteful. Think less is more. You do not have to worry about anything falling out or for when you are feeling a little uncomfortable in a two-piece. Whether you prefer a plunging neckline or an open back, there are many different silhouettes to choose from.

RocksBox
If you are anything like me, you feel off for the entire day if you are not wearing a piece of jewelry. An outfit is always complete with the right statement necklace or pair of earrings. I have mentioned before that I always wear the same pieces of jewelry (this bracelet, watch, earrings, and ring) everyday. When going out I will put on a statement necklace or some fun earrings. I have been wanting to change things up a little and I have found the perfect way to do so!
I have been living under rock for a while now, because I only recently discovered Rocksbox. It is a monthly delivery of a few gorgeous pieces of jewelry to try. Think Birchbox, but with more bling. Once you are done testing out the goods, return the items (you can return them at anytime!) and wait for your next box. If you absolutely love an item, keep it and they will charge you the amount for it. I love the idea of “testing” jewelry pieces, seeing if you like it or not. Since I seem to stick to what is comfortable, I sometimes hesitate to buy new pieces. Will I actually wear this more than once? Is this even my style? Rocksbox gives you the chance to answer those questions. This is also a great way to discover new designers that you may never have heard of before; House of Harlow, Kendra Scott, Gorjana, and my favorite Loren Hope, just to name a few.
When first signing up, your jewelry stylist will ask you a few questions about your style. Then you have the chance to select certain pieces you wish to arrive in the mail. This way you can control what you get instead of getting pieces that do not match your aesthetics. I am using this time to pick a few pieces that I know are me (lots of pearls!) and some pieces that are a little out of my style zone—nothing wrong with having a little fun with it!
If you are interested in trying Rocksbox, with the code blushandbloomsxoxo you can try it for one month FREE! After the one month they will start charging you $19 a month. Each month you will get a $10 Shine Spend money, this can go towards any purchase you wish to make. If this does not make you sign up right away, I don’t know what will! Rocksbox is worth the trail and see how quickly you fall in love with it!
Varina Flats
There is always that one item you have been eyeing for years. You dream about wearing it and what outfits would match with it. You go to the store just to try them on and stare at yourself in the mirror while you parade around…..no? just me? Anyway, this item that I am itching to get is Salvatore Ferragamo Varina Flats! My grandmother use to wear Ferragamo’s and I have always swooned over them. They are classic, simple, feminine, come in a myriad of colors and not to mention there is a bow on it. In other words, my dream shoes. A little on the pricey side, but as a timeless piece they are worth every penny. I have read a few reviews on sizing and fit, all suggest to order true to your size. You also need to spend time to break them in and once you do they are super comfortable. I have had my fair share of band-aid parties on my feet, so I am ok with it. My first pair will probably be a classic beige or black (boring I know), after that I would love to have a coral or navy color. Ok I want my entire shoe collection to primarily be Varinas, can you blame me? They are beautiful!
