One of my favorite things to do is to ride my bike. Although I look more Lance Armstrong than Audrey Hepburn while riding it, I love the idea of cruising around town on a cute bike in a cute dress. By the way,  how darling is this bike? I would love to have a bike for my Lance day and one for my Audrey days. This dress I have been eyeing for a while as I always believe you can never have too many LWD and this one is just perfect for summer . Definitely a lady-like Audrey look. I can see myself wearing it while perusing the farmers market, having a picnic in the park, shopping all day, brunching with friends, and of course riding my bike. When riding you need the essentials to travel with, a cross body purse to hold your belongings along with a hat and a pair of sunglasses to keep the sun off your face. I am pretty smitten with this pair of sunglasses, they have a cool girl kind of feel as well as being classic looking.  I would love to expand my sunglass collection and these would be a perfect addition.

My family is going to laugh at this post when they read this…. truthfully as much as I hate to admit it, I am not the most organized person. As much as I try to be, I can’t seem to stay organized at home.  I leave clothes on the floor all the time, and objects and shoes all over the house. Luckily when it comes to dishes and drinks I clean up after myself– I am not that messy! I consider myself half OCD/messy. I can go to bed not caring if there is an article of clothing on the floor, but also can’t stand living in a pig pen. When I lived in New York I was a neat freak. I was constantly cleaning, organizing and reorganizing my closet, made my bed, wiped down the counters, etc. Since moving back to Columbus, I have been pretty messy–mostly it is contributed to currently living out of boxes, but still, I need to get my tush back in organized gear. So here are some helpful tips on ways to stay organized.

When it comes to weekend style I want to stay comfortable as much as possible yet still stylish. I have also been trying to find ways to pair outfits with this hat. I am like a porcelain doll these days, hiding from the sun at all times. This hat from J.Crew is one of my favorite recent purchases. It is a wide enough brim that covers my face, and the white ribbon gives it a stylish detail.  My mom thinks I look amish when I wear it, I beg a differ…

A few weeks ago I was helping a male client style outfits for the summer. As we were discussing different attire I realized I am not as knowledgable about menswear as I would like to be. Sure I know what I think looks good and I am always a sucker for a man in a Barbour jacket, but when it comes down to the different fabrics, lingo, and fit, I am a deer in headlights. I am now “studying” mens fashion and keeping up with the trends as I do with woman’s clothing.
Since I am diving into the world of menswear, I decided to ask a few of my guy friends what they were currently eyeing at the moment. They all said a watch. To my surprise, most of them did not want what is currently trendy but rather something classic. So I decided to make a little style guide for summer full of classic pieces.
