April showers are in full effect! I have been grabbing my trench coat more often than not for the past two weeks. In fact, my typical rainy day uniform would be my Hunter boots, jeans, a comfy sweater or button up, my classic trench coat, and a trusty umbrella. Which, by the way, I am in desperate need of a new one. I think my current umbrella has one or two broken ribs, so it is time for a new one.  I have been eyeing the Hunter  bubble umbrella. I want it in either the porcelain blue or pink… maybe I will get both 😉

An item that has been on my radar forever are tassel earrings, but for some reason never pulled the trigger in buying a pair. Well last week Lisi Lerch was darling enough to send me a pair that I can not wait to wear! I now want tassel earrings in different colors, especially these beauties (which are currently sold out, but know they will be back in stock soon!), and also want these to wear for a more formal affair. Tassel earrings are not only cute and timeless, they are versatile. I have seen some great ways to pair them on Instagram over the past few years. You can pair them with a casual outfit or a cocktail dress for a pop of color. Tassel earrings is an item that every girl should own!

Have you ever created a vision board? I make them all the time and absolutely love doing them! The concept is to put all your goals, dreams, and anything that gives you inspiration onto a board where you can see them daily. One board can be a specific theme or one goal, or you can mix it up with different goals. I think it is a great way to stay focus on where you want to go in life, what kind of life you want to live and who you want to be. It also helps with the creative process. My board consists of a lot of fashionable inspiration, people I admire, ballerinas, lots of color and flowers, quotes that remind me to stay happy and positive, health and fitness goals, blogging collaborations I want to have or events I want to attend, and images of New York and Paris. It’s a collection of everything that makes me, me, and everything that I aspire to be.
