If you have been following my social media accounts, especially my Instagram account, you would of have come across a link that looks like this: http://liketk.it/2oDi6 @liketoknow.it #liketkit. Ever thought to yourself what the heck is this link I keep seeing?, well the link is there to make your life easier. First let me give you a little background, my blog is affiliated with RewardStyle, a program that connects influencers to brands. This means when you click on my links (which are blush colored on my blog and the image scrolls you see) it will direct you to the stores/brands where a certain shirt or pair of shoes are from. If you buy that particular item (or any item from the store), I get a little commission from the sale. This is how my blog (along with sponsored collaborations with brands) is my main source of income.

Is there anything better than laying by the pool on a sunny day, sitting on your porch at sunset, or locking yourself in your room all day getting lost in a really good book during summer? I enjoy reading all year round, but there is something about leisurely reading a can’t-put-down book that makes summer so much sweeter. I just finished Me Before You and Big Magic (both I highly recommend) and now need a new book, or six, for the summer. Here is what is currently on my reading list.

One of my favorite looks of summer is the nautical look.  I love the nautical look on not only women, but men as well. A blue and white striped shirt paired with white bottoms with a hint of red, it is the unequivocal classic, preppy, All-American look. A look that always reminds me of something Ali MacGraw would wear in Love Story, and who doesn’t want to look like her? I know I do! Sign me up!

What I love most about this simple yet timeless look is that it can be worn to almost any occasion. Paired with heels for a night out or with flats to go shopping. This nautical look will never go out of style.
