I have never been one to shy away from a detailed top. Whether it is ruffles, embellishments, lace, or bows I will always gravitate towards these feminine details. Lately I have been searching for new tops to go out in on the weekends and tops for NYFW in a few weeks.  I want something feminine to wear with black pants or my leather pants. Winter can be so dreary with big chunky sweaters that I tend not dress up like I love to, so these tops will be a great alternative to those basic tops we wear all the time.

Happy Friday! After a long weekend with my family in Atlanta, I have spent this week catching up on emails and listening to the La La Land soundtrack on repeat. It is SO good! My favorite song is “Another Day Of Sun”, it puts me in such a great mood!

As much as I like to go out on the town on the weekends, I love a cozy night in just as much. Maybe even more. Especially during the winter time when it is too cold to go out, no thank you. There is something so nice about staying in and wrapping a blanket around you, giving yourself a little facial, and watching an old movie. Oh, and of course eating chocolate and drinking champagne! This to me is the perfect night in. A chance to recharge and detox yourself from the work week. We deserve to do something nice for ourselves every once in a while!

I think it is time we impeach winter for misconduct. I am over it. I have the right to bare arms and legs and I can’t in this weather. I need Vitamin D and dresses without tights and no coats and, well, I just need to no longer look like casper.
