This past Thursday my friend, who is currently living in Boston, was in town for a few days. One of the many fun things we did was visit the Glossier Showroom on Lafayette street. I mentioned this during Friday’s Simply Smitten—  I have been following Into The Gloss and knew of Glossier, but have never tried their products. My friend is a religious Glossier shopper, so she was dying to see the showroom.

Happy Friday!! This past week was all about pampering myself. I got a much needed massage and went to the chiropractor. If you remember last week I tweaked my neck/back a little while working out, so I needed some serious maintenance work. I feel better but am scheduled for another chiropractor appointment next week.

My style can be described in two words– feminine and classic. So when I go shopping I am always drawn towards such articles of clothing. Items that excite me and tug at my heart. I know they fit my personality and my style. Those are the pieces I will keep forever and feel confident in.

Yesterday I went to my chiropractor for a much, much, much needed adjustment. While I was there the two of us had a long conversation on mind-body connection. I am a firm believer that what is going on in your head affects what is going on with your body. Negative thoughts are toxic. Your mind sends signals to your body through your nerves, if those nerves are toxic then your body reacts to those signals. Those signals could result in not feeling well, headaches, stomach aches, depression, joint pains, inflammation, etc.
