J.Crew fitness

We all struggle with our body image. We have days where we think everything looks awful on us; our thighs look huge, our stomach not as toned. And we have days where we think we look amazing; our pants feel a little loose, our stomach a little smaller. Does anything really change between the days? Probably not that drastic of a change. Maggy London

dress c/o // nude heels // clutch

Lately I have been teaming with Maggy London to showcase some of my favorite things to do in New York during the spring (seen here, here, and here). “know your worth, and accept nothing less”

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!! I am so ready for a 3-day weekend! Can I get a hallelujah, can I get an amen! I am actually staying in New York this weekend and I am perfectly happy about it. The town is will be pretty quiet and my roommates will both be gone, so I will have the apartment to myself. At home spa, dance party, and Netflix it is! Really I am looking forward to relaxing. The past few weeks I have been on the go going to an event almost overnight, and this next month I will be traveling and there is more events on my calendar. It will be nice to have a much needed relaxing break. I am, however, going to the ballet this weekend to see the American Ballet Theatre’s performance of Giselle. Which is my favorite ballet!! I am pretty excited about it!

A dress that was made for me.  If I were to be designing dresses, this would be in my collection. Feminine detailing, beautiful coloring, the dress is a dream come true. But for some reason today I do not want to write about fashion or why you must buy this dress (which is currently 40% off right now!!!), instead I want to talk about real life.
