Month: June 2017

“Eventually you’ll end up where you need to be, with who you’re meant to be with, and doing what you should be doing.”

Happy Friday!!!  I am SO excited and happy it is the weekend! My mom is flying into town today and we are spending the weekend frolicking around the city. The only real plan we have is going to see the American Ballet Theatre perform Swan Lake. Misty Copeland will play Odette! I can’t wait to see her perform (again) and have my mom experience a ballet at The MET Opera house. Other than seeing the ABT perform, on our agenda will be going shopping and having brunch and dinner downtown. It is going to be a great weekend!

tennis

For the past couple of years I have been talking about wanting to take tennis lessons. Each summer I look into taking lessons and then something always comes up that I end up not doing it. Well this summer I am FINALLY taking tennis lessons. I signed up (paid and locked in) at the Midtown Tennis Club for once a week group lessons during the month of July. My friend Sam, from The New York Blonde, will be joining me in the class. I can not wait!

gingham dress

Summer has finally arrived! For the past few days we have been having 90 degree weather… and I still do not have my AC installed. Living the wild life. Anyway, when I think of summer I think of two types of patterns: seersucker and gingham. Both classic and always in style, and ones that I will wear often. This gingham dress, I knew, was a must have. A dress that you can wear from work to play, to a bridal or baby shower, special events, or a even a luncheon. A dress you will wear for years to come.

Happy Friday!! This week has felt SO long. I mean, I haven’t even watched the latest episode of The Handmaids Tale, that is how busy this week was. Pas dróle. If you haven’t notices, my website design changed this week and now it is back to its original design. I bought a template, had it plugged in and then hated it. So I switched it back to its original design and am back to the drawling board of themes. Ugh, so frustrating.

It wasn’t all work, work, work, work, work, this past week I geeked out over Shay Mitchell. Tuesday night I attended the Stella Artois “Host One To Remember” event with Shay Mitchell (Emily from Pretty Little Liars). I am a HUGE PLL fan. Obsessed. Seeing her in person I had so many questions about who A.D. is. It was hard but I reframed myself from any PLL talk.  I am a New Yorker,  we do not care about celebrities…..
