Business attire does not have to be so mundane. It can be playful and professional at the same time. A great way to bring a little fashion into the office is with matching suits. I find matching suits to be so chic and stylish. You look put together, feminine, and powerful. Even if you are not in a career that requires corporate attire, you can still sport a matching suit to any and all occasions. We have seen Blake Lively wear a suit to almost every event and occasion in her life recently and she makes it look so chic. Although we are not Blake (unfortunately) we can also find many opportunities outside of work to wear suits that are fashionable.

There is nothing more beautiful than autumn in New York. The leaves are changing, pumpkins are put out onto everyones stoop, and the air is crisp. It’s the time of the year to bundle up and add an extra layer to our outfits. Lately I have been really gravitating towards wearing blazers. I wear them casually with jeans and professional with a nice dress. I was excited when I saw this blazer from Talbots because of the beautiful pink color. It gives a sunny disposition to naturally gloomy season.

Today is the day!! Blaire’s collection with Halogen x Atlantic Pacific for Nordstrom has officially launched!! Two weeks ago I was fortunate to see a preview of the collection and I was basically drooling over everything. The collection is made up of 150 items all under $250 from dresses to outerwear to accessories and shoes. I have been doing finger exercises all weekend to prepare them to go into battle; I must purchase the items that I want faster than everybody else. I have my eye on this bow top, faux fur stole, this plaid blazer, this tweed jacket … who am I kidding, I want it all!! If we have learned anything from previous blogger x brand collaborations, it is that items will sell out QUICKLY! Happy shopping!!
