If you are saving your pretty pennies for a vacation or a new apartment or for your family’s future, I have you covered. Sometimes we just need to budget our money and not spend it on clothes (or clothes and food in my case…). Sometimes buying a blouse for $395 is reasonable not doable. Even if you are not budgeting, it’s nice to know you spent less on an item that you love. Today I have rounded up some spring must-have pieces that are under $100. You won’t break the bank and you will still look fashionable and put together. If only all brands and designers made clothes for under $100… le sigh.

Stripes Into Spring
sweater (40% off!) // pink bootie (similar) // high-waist jeans // circle bag // coat // sunglasses
Tired of wearing your winter black but it’s still not warm enough to wear your spring clothes? An easy solution to start transitioning into spring is to wear colored sweaters. In this case, striped sweaters. When I think of the iconic print my mind usually goes towards spring and summer collections. Maybe it’s due to the whole nautical look that stripes are usually associated with. Either way it’s time to pull out your favorite stripe sweaters cause spring is only a month away!!
Friday’s Simply Smitten

Happy Friday and happy belated Valentine’s Day! Hope your day was filled with love; whether from your s/o, family member, friends, or self love. I got a cute VDay text from my 2yr old niece sending me a picture of herself (narcissistic much…). A call from my dad (and a card)– although he didn’t laugh at my favorite witty remark as of lately, so that was bummer. Maybe he didn’t hear me, my mom sure had a good laugh at it. I received lots of love from friends. Managed to have some alone time during the day to reflex, and had my favorite meal cooked at night. Needless to say I felt loved. Hope you did too!
Top Street Style Trends At NYFW 2019
Another New York Fashion Week has come and go. The streets are no longer filled with fashionably- crazy outfits, just your normal all black wearing New Yorkers. Although the runways are all about fall and winter ’19, the streets of fashion week is where the trends of today are. The thing about NYFW is that anything goes. In line waiting for a show to start, you will girls in cocktail dresses, sneakers with jeans, athletic wear, over-sized coats, some crazy sparkly outfits, neutrals and minimalist, and so on. Although anything goes during fashion week, there are still some top trends that graced the streets of New York. Neon is having a major moment right now; I think Pantone got the color of the year wrong (coral), neon green is what every fashionista is wearing. Another color that many influencers wore were shades of pink. Python and plaid are two prints that were all over NYFW, worn either as a garment or an accessory. Mini crossbody bags were a big hit– are fanny packs out again? Sneakers and white boots are the main choice for footwear– need to become a sneaker wearing influencer, my feet hurt. And of course statement, well anything, was in. You name the item and someone had some sort of statement saying on it. As there are many trends to follow from fashion week, here are a few of my favorites.
