Forget what bag you are carrying or the must have shoe item, hair accessories are the biggest trend of the moment. From runways to street styles, I am seeing more and more women embrace hair accessories. I, for one, am loving that headbands, barrettes, and scrunchies are getting their dues. I have always been a big fan of headbands for most of my life. I instantly jumped on the turban headband trend with this pearl headband. You may have noticed me wearing this pearl barrette lately, and just bought this pearl clip to change up my looks. As I love the double barrette look, I can wear both together or separate. Another trend is criss-crossing multiple bobby pins on the side of your head. Most brands had this look for their runway shows during fashion week. I am fully diving into the hair accessory trend and think you should too! It’s a style everyone can easily pull off and goes well with different signature looks. Here are a few of my favorite accessories.

Celebrating International Women’s Day with adidas
cropped sweatshirt c/o // leggings c/o // active sneakers c/o // sunglasses
With March being Women’s History Month and the 8th being International Women’s Day, I wanted to share how I will be celebrating. As women we need to support and lift each other up. As a blogger I am constantly surrounded by incredibly smart, creative, driven women and I am only happy for their successes. I think it’s wonderful that women are really driving the force for equality in the workplace, as well as creating businesses of their own. There are a ton of ways to celebrate International Women’s Day: send flowers to the women in your life that inspire you, buy from women owned businesses, celebrate women in film and books, get together with your girlfriends, support local women’s movements, do something courageous and self loving. It does not matter what you do, it’s time to celebrate being a woman. As part of adidas She Breaks Barrier’s campaign, I am celebrating International Women’s Day by working out at women owned studios in the city.
Friday’s Simply Smitten
“The woman you’re becoming will cost you people, relationships, spaces, and material things.
Choose her over everything”
Happy Friday! Surprise! I am home in Columbus, Ohio. I flew in yesterday morning and am staying until Monday. There is not a particular reason for me to be in town except that I wanted to see my family. It is nice to be home with them, doing nothing. It feels good to be home.
