“Learn  every day new ways to love yourself.”

-JH Hard

Happy Friday!! I am so happy it is the weekend as this past week was crazy! I was so busy I didn’t even have time to have anxiety over how busy I was. Can’t complain though, I’ve had a pretty good week considering.

veuve clicquot polo match

A few weekends ago I attended the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. This is my second year attending the polo match and I have to say, it has become my favorite day of the year. I had so much fun drinking rosé with my friends all day laughing, dancing, and watching the match. I went with Emily, Allie, Dana, and Elle. Once again we were in the Rosé Garden which is a tented area with lounge couches and lots of beautiful Instagram moments. I wore this floral dress from Gal Meets Glam. Originally I wanted to wear it in the yellow color, but unfortunately it was backordered and wouldn’t arrive in time for the big day. I ended up buying the blue one instead and am really happy I did. I love this dress, the print is so beautiful and the bow-tie straps really gives it an extra layer of feminine touch.

Summer is all about being outdoors; swimming, long walks, drinks on the patio. Although we are more active during the sunshine season, it does not mean we do not succumb to the calling of Netflix and a day of leisure. It is nice to have a day when you can open the windows to a cool breeze while watching movies all day or sit outside on the patio with a good book. As someone who works from home, unless I have a place to go, I do not wear my finest of clothing. I throw on a pair of elastic shorts and a sweatshirt or throw on a casual dress. I have gathered a few items to wear on a lazy summer day that won’t break the bank.

Tanya Taylor

dress // bow sandals // circle bag c/o // pearl clip // sunglasses

Summer is all about turning your days into nights. Meeting a friend for a late lunch and then, unexpectedly, you find yourself at a rooftop party. Lately I have been looking for outfits for those such incidence. A dress that you can wear all day long and still feel like you dressed appropriately for such occasion. This wrap dress from Tanya Taylor, from the moment I put it on, knew it was one that I would consistently grab out of my closet. Not only is this wrap dress comfortable to wear, but I love the beautiful detailing. It’s like a painting in a way. The fabric is so light and breezy, it almost feels like you are not wearing anything. Perfect for those hot summer days. This is a dress you will reach for whenever you step out of the house.
