fall bootie

Pull out your sweaters, pick apples from a tree, and sip on a hot beverage because it is officially fall! Although the weather does not quite permit heavy layers and boots, I am starting to formulate my fall seasonal wardrobe. Booties are the number one sought after item for the fall. Right now I am wearing my booties with dresses and skirts for a more transitional look. Last year I bought these white booties – which I have been coveting for a long time- and have worn them with almost every outfit during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. This season I am looking for a tan or brown bootie. Here are a few booties I have gathered to shop for the crisp fall.

The beauty of being quarantined during the summer is having ample time to read. I spent hours on the weekends reading in the park with the sun on my skin and the wind blowing. I lucked out this summer by reading some page-turners. From love stories to rights movements to life’s pondering questions, these books were hard to put down. I highly recommend adding each and everyone to your reading wish list.

Happy Friday! When I was getting my morning matcha from Starbucks this morning I was chatting with one of my favorite Baristas about how even though every day feels the same, it still feels so good to head into the weekend. Does anyone else feel this way? Maybe old mindsets die hard.

If you are like me then you have been binge-watching the new Netflix show Get Organized with The Home Edit all week. The Home Edit is a company founded by OCD enthusiast and organizational guru’s Joanna and Cleo. The two women, along with a team, will go into your home and organized anywhere from your closet to your garage. Their clients range from everyday people like us to celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon and Khloe Kardashian. The Home Edit is a little like Marie Kondo but instead of focusing on getting rid of things, it’s how you can optimize the space you already have. As someone who has a lot of stuff and lives in a small studio apartment, this show is a Godsend.
