Happy Friday!! It’s been a rough, emotional week so I am glad it’s finally the weekend. I am feeling much better than I was at the beginning of the week, but still, have a lot on my mind and the weight of current affairs is affecting me. Last fall season the item that I coveted the most was a sweater dress. I would buy and return, trying to find the perfect one. Some were too big and others were either too short or tight. I finally found this black sweater dress from J.Crew. Unfortunately, after only wearing it twice I got a hole that can’t be repaired (wasn’t the quality of the dress, I snagged it on something and it ripped). I may repurchase it as it is back in stock this year, but I am browsing other options. I have recently bought this one in oatmeal (comes in other colors). I have received it, but have yet to try it on. Should probably do it soon. I also bought this one in gray (comes in other colors), and am patiently waiting for its arrival.  Although I have purchased new sweater dresses, I am still on the prowl. We have finally made it to the holiday season! After the year we have had, we deserve a little merry. I, for one, am just glad I have something to look forward to. However you are celebrating the holidays this year, with friends or family, the season brings us all joy and happiness. Something we all need right now. I will be heading home soon for the remainder of the year to celebrate the holidays with my family and to meet my new niece! (more…)

Happy Friday! The leaves are finally starting to turn here in the city. When you walk around there is an array of colors that turn the streets into a picturesque painting. I think a picnic in Central Park is in my near future. (more…)
