Breakthroughs happen every second. Miracles are real and natural.”

Happy Friday! One more week until Christmas! I have finally finished all of my shopping, but still have wrapping to do. I have to admit that I am not the best at wrapping gifts. No matter how careful or focused I am, it somehow always comes out looking terrible. I guess I wasn’t born with the skills to wrap presents. My dad, however, has the wrapping paper thumb and makes every present look impeccable. (more…)

christmas list

A holiday gift guide wouldn’t be complete without sharing what I asked Santa for Christmas. The other day I was thinking back to Christmas as a kid. How my parents would give my sister and me a catalog from Toys-R-Us (before the internet) and I would circle everything. Of course, I didn’t get everything that I wanted. This simple black blouse I can wear year-round and this classic slip skirt is something that I can wear year after year. (more…)

stocking stuffers

Santa Clause is coming to town! In a little over a week, the jolly old Saint Nick will slide down our chimneys to leave presents under the tree and in the stockings hung by the fireplace. As a Christmas Day tradition my family, before laying eyes on the tree, will open our stockings first to see what Santa left us. As a kid, we used to get all sorts of toys in our stockings. As a teenager, it was usually a CD. Now it’s filled with gift cards or one item like lipstick, underwear, etc. One thing that has always been constant is M&Ms in the candy cane container. If you are still looking for stocking stuffer ideas to gift this year, I have gathered a few ideas for men and women. (more…)
