Happy Friday! Did this week fly by for anyone else? I blinked and it was over. This is how I pretty much feel in general about April– that it has flown by fast. I guess I can’t complain, it is the weekend anyhow, and I am ready for some R&R. (more…)

I’ve said this before and I will continue to say it, a silver lining of the pandemic is all of the beautiful outdoor dining decor. I am very impressed with the restaurants here in NYC creating their makeshift seating area into an enchanted Shangri- la. An Instagram worthy aesthetic that will make you feel as if you are dining in a greenhouse. One of my favorite charming outdoor dinning areas is Lola Taverna. They did a beautiful job creating a whimsical dinning experience with florals, palm plants, vines, and birch sticks. (more…)

Once a season I like to include our gentlemen friends into our daily chats about fashion. Now that spring is in full bloom, it’s time to discuss must-have items for men. While browsing through men’s new arrivals I noticed a color scheme of blues, greens, and beige. Of course you have the bright colored pinks and purples to sport, but soft shades, as well as utility and nautical, are the top trends of the spring season. (more…)

Happy Friday! After a few rainy days I am looking forward to a weekend filled with sunshine. I really need to get out of the apartment and clear my head. One of the worst parts about the pandemic is we can’t hug, and I could really use a hug right now. I miss being in a room filled with friends and hugging them upon arrival. Or being around my family and getting a good bear hug from my parents. Or something much better, a hug from my nieces.  (more…)
