I find it fascinating to learn about history through a captivating, imaginative story. As Easter quickly approaches, I am starting to shop for a dress to wear to celebrate. I will be staying in New York for the holiday. This means I will go to church and then have an Easter feast of my own. There will be no Easter baskets or hunting for eggs for me… unfortunately. I do love to hunt for Easter eggs. Since my day will be less festive as most, I will be looking for a more casual dress that I can wear repeatedly during the spring and summer season like this smock dress. Now that spring has finally arrived, I am ready to put away my winter clothes and say hello to warm weather styles. When shopping for spring clothing, I want a mixture of comfort and style to wear not only around the house but also out and about. Uniqlo has an amazing new collection for spring that tailors to all my seasonal needs. An everyday t-shirt dress to throw on and run errands. A new trench coat for April showers. Comfortable shorts to wear daily with a basic t-shirt. A linen dress to wear on Easter or for drinks at one of the many rooftops bars here in NYC. Or perhaps a classic striped button-up for work. Happy Friday! I am back in NYC after a week long trip to Marco Island with my family. My vacation in the sun was relaxing and much needed. I spent time away from my computer and the blog to fully enjoy time spent with my family and to recharge. (more…)
