Happy Friday! Have you ever had a really great week, but nothing actually happened? That is currently me. I must have had some sort of serotonin boost because everything is making me happy. Now that autumn is on the horizon, I am slowly starting to shop for pre-fall items to wear. Clothes that will help me transition from hot summer days to the crisp fall weather. One way that I transition my wardrobe is through moody florals and muted color dresses. Perhaps a light sweater and a jean jacket to throw on. We are in the mist of a heatwave here in New York, which means I am still shopping for summer dresses. Dresses to keep me cool, while still looking put together. Back in June I went to the Hamptons with J.McLaughlin to celebrate National Wicker Day and they gifted me with this striped maxi dress to wear. Although that particular day was a little bit chilly, I knew it would get me through the heat of the summer. (more…)
