I am in a feather mood this week! From my favorite feather button-down top to this collage of feathered items, you have everything you need this holiday season. Dressing for a holiday soirée doesn’t mean you have to wear traditional red or sparkly sequins. Feathers are a great way to fa la la la without being draped in tartan. It’s also something you can wear outside the holiday season for a fun birthday party or to a wedding. Or more seasonably for New Year’s Eve. Lately I have been showing elevated casual looks for the fall and winter season. Mostly styling my feather button down in different ways. I recently styled my blue feather button-down with high rise jeans for an everyday look. This time I am pairing my white feather button-down top with a sweater jacket that can be worn to work or while running errands. I untucked my shirt for a more relaxed casual look, but would also look great tucked in for a sleek ensemble. (more…)
