It’s time to pull out our red, white, and blue attire because the Fourth of July is only 2 weeks away! We all know that this year celebrating the Fourth is going to be very different than the past. Some cities are canceling their parades and firework displays, and our party celebrations will be much smaller. I wish I could be here in Ohio celebrating with my family, because no one does Independence Day better than Upper Arlington, but I must head back to the city. I will be back in NYC for the Fourth and I assume not doing much of anything. Maybe I will end up getting together with a few friends, find somewhere safe, and socially distant to watch the Macy’s Firework display. I would like to go to the Hamptons but I am not comfortable yet with public transportation. Although I am do not have current plans to celebrate the Fourth I still want be festive by dressing up for the holiday.  Here are a few outfit ideas to celebrate red, white, and BOOM!

Today is the launch of the Sail to Sable x Style Charade capsule collection! Two of my favorites coming together to create such a beautiful line of dresses for the summer! Sail to Sable, for those of you who may not be familiar, is a resort wear brand based out of Connecticut. With a nautical vibe, classic design, and feminine detailing, Sail to Sable offers staple pieces for women of all ages. So I was very excited to hear that they partnered with one of my favorite people!  Jennifer Lake, of Chicago-based blog Style Charade, is the most kind-hearted person and I am happy to call her a friend. She truly amazes me with her work ethic and eye for making bright colors and prints work seamlessly together. If there is one article of clothing that I love the most, it would be dresses. Ever since I was little I always opted for a flowy dress over restricted jeans. I love the way dresses make me feel; feminine and strong. Dresses are the most versatile item in your wardrobe. From day dresses to evening wear, one dress can easily be transformed from casual to dressed up. Here I am wearing this maxi dress with sneakers for a daytime look, then threw on heels for an evening look.
