When it comes to dating it can be tricky trying to find the right outfit. What you wear depends on what type of date you are going on; is it the first time you are meeting each other or are you in a relationship, and what day of the week it is on really matters what you are going to wear on the date. In the summer when I go on dates I always opt for a dress. I not only feel the most confident in dresses, but a dress can be tailored to any type of date situation. During the winter is when my date night wardrobe becomes a little tricker, and quite frankly, I am bored of. For date nights I have a handful of tops that I rotate through, but lately, I have been looking to freshen up my date night looks with a new top or two.

All Dressed Up and No Where To Go
dress // clutch // nude heels // headband // sunglasses
The weather here in New York has been pretty wonderful. From 60 degrees this past weekend to now being sunny and 50 degrees, I’ll take any kind of warm weather. Usually, at this time of year, I am cooped up in my apartment avoiding gushing winds and snowfall. This, of course, means I want to be out and about enjoying the spring-like weather. I love any excuse to wear a dress, especially as chic and classic as this one. So when the weather is warm during the winter season, I have no choice but to dress up.
The Party Don’t Start ‘Til I Feather In
feather top // lace pants // nude heels // clutch // sunglasses
The holidays may be over but the party is still going on! Between birthdays, events, and everything in between, having a party top on hand that isn’t tailored to the holidays is what our wardrobe needs. I adore anything with feathers; adding a fun detail to any type of garment.
Christmas Time Is Here
dress // nude heels // clutch // sunglasses // earrings c/o
Christmas time is here! I have all of my shopping done, but I still have not wrapped any gifts. That is on my agenda for today. There are many Christmas traditions I am looking forward to doing; going to church, heading to my neighbors for their Christmas Eve party, watching White Christmas, my dad reading The Polar Express (when we were little), and my favorite tradition- the wrapping competition.
