A print that I will forever gravitate towards is florals. Even when it comes to my decor, florals are the main theme throughout my all-around aesthetic. Last week I posted a Valentine’s Day outfit guide. What to wear for any type of Valentine’s Day date or celebration. Today lets talk about a more casual V-Day look. Valentine’s Day does not have to be this huge romantic, cocktail attire affair. It can easily be grabbing a slice of pizza and going for a walk around the city. It really does not matter what you do, it’s who you are celebrating the day with that matters. But even if you do not have a special significant other, you can still wear your favorite pink top on the day of love.

The season of love is upon us. I am looking forward to the city being decorated in hearts and shades of pink and red. Valentine’s Day is only two weeks away, and if you are like me, then you are already planning on what you are going to wear. One of the top trends for spring 2020 is polka-dots. I don’t want to call this a comeback, because polka-dots are always in style, but this coming season it will be everywhere. But before the spring season hits, why not be ahead of the trend by wearing polka-dots now. This cute ruffle bow-tie polka-dot dress (on sale!) is perfect for work or any professional setting, then taking it out on the town for happy hour. It’s playful, yet not over the top. I have paired it with knee-high boots but can easily be worn with heels and flats. It’s loose fitted, a shirtdress, but doesn’t feel like wearing a bag on your body. For size reference, I am wearing a size 0. This is a great alternative dress to wear to work that brings a little fun to your professional day.
