It’s wintertime, we are cold, and the last thing we want to do is think about what we are wearing or try to look cute in zero degree weather. During the colder season I tend to stay comfortable with my outfits by wearing all black. It fits my mood of not wanting to go outside, it fits the weather, it’s me being lazy, and it’s ’tis the season. Now I am trying to push myself to still wear color. Of course my daily attire consists of black faux leather leggings and an oversized sweater, but there are times, whether it’s events, meetings, or going to see a performance, that wearing all black feels boring to me. Although during the holiday season I like to sparkle and shine and wear merry colors, there is something to be said for a classic black dress. It’s timeless, chic, and sophisticated. Even though it is not wedding season, people are still tying the knot during the fall and winter. About 6 years ago my sister got married during the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Luckily, as maid of honor, I did not have to figure out what to wear to a winter wedding. If I did, however, I think finding a dress as a guest to a fall or winter wedding may be somewhat of a challenge. Do you play it safe and go with all black? Do you wear a dress for the holidays in sparkle? You obviously can’t wear your go-to summer wedding dress, what does one wear?  I am loving this floral wrap dress from Sachin & Babi.
