Last night I went to the launch party at the Palace Hotel for the new Gal Meets Glam coat collection. Gal Meets Glam, owned by Julia Engel, is a feminine clothing brand based out of Charleston. I have been loving their clothing for the past year or so, ever since their launch. I am excited about the new coat collection that launched yesterday! Seeing all of the beautiful blush and periwinkle tone coats last night made me want to buy everything! I am loving this wrapped coat and this scalloped houndstooth jacket. GMG also had a preview of their holiday collection– some that have already launched like this beautiful red dress with black velvet bows and this sequined dress. It’s never too early to start shopping for the holidays! In the meantime, I will be trying to decide between which cute coat I want.

Atlantic Pacific x Halogen Second Collection
Today Nordstrom launched the second Atlantic Pacific x Halogen collection. Blair has such a unique, fun, feminine style that everyone can wear. Last year items went pretty fast and I predict this will happen again! I still wear my blazer and bow button-up blouse from last year’s collection all the time. So far I have already purchased this plaid silk blouse and currently have in waiting this tweed jacket and heels. I also really love this coat! Items are affordable and so cute!
Trend Alert: Belted Blazers
blazer // suede leggings (similar) // knee-high boots (similar) // circle bag c/o // silk tank (similar) // sunglasses
Every season there are a few trends that I will jump on board with; padded headbands, snakeskin boots, moody florals, and belted blazers to name a few. Blazers are an essential item for the fall season. They are professional and fashionable, practical and versatile. I say you can never have enough blazers in your closet. Belted blazers are a top trend this season and it’s a trend that I am all on board with. It is a modern, feminine twist on a classic item. Of course, belted blazers are not new to the fashion world but they are having a moment this fall season. Do yourself a favor a purchase a belted blazer or two. (more…)
The Botanical Cheetah Print Pants
pants // sweater // shoes // circle bag // sunglasses
Out of all of the clothing items available in animal print, pants may be the hardest to pull off. The print could be alittle too overwhelming for your taste. I have never shied away from wearing printed or pattern pants, but the design has to be right. These silk botanical cheetah pants from J.Crew, I knew, were the perfect print to own. It’s settle yet still makes a statement. The pants are also relaxed a litte and feels almost like wearing pajamas pants. Who doesn’t want to feel this comfortable while also feeling fashionable?! The print also comes in a silk button up, so if you are feeling bold you can wear them both together! If this print is too busy for you but you want to wear the animal print trend, maybe try wearing the classic leopard print pants. Leopard will never go out of style, so you know you wil always be on trend. Whatever animal print you don to wear, make sure you rock it with confidence!
