What To Wear On The 4th of July
With the 4th of July being around the corner it’s time to start thinking about what we are going to wear. When it comes to my patriotic look, I like to dress up a little but keep it casual. For the 4th this year I am heading back home to Columbus. It is not only the 4th but also my high school reunion. I am on the planning committee for the reunion and it’s the day after the 4th. Otherwise I think I would have either stayed here in the city or go to the Hamptons to celebrate. Anyway, I decided to make a long trip out of it and will be home for over a week. I am excited to be home with my family, see my friends, catch up with high school pals, and celebrate Independence Day.
The Garden Dress
dress c/o // circle bag // bow sandals // sunglasses
Every woman needs a few statement dresses in their closet. A dress you can throw on, feel comfortable in, and know you stand out in the crowd. This garden dress from Kate Spade, with the mixture of florals, cats and polka dots, is one to have. And this is coming from someone who is not a cat lover and yet still got this dress. Kate Spade has a way of making a fun, out there print, look beautiful. Fashion is meant to be playful; it’s fun to throw on an outfit that will stand out amongst the crowd. Especially if it is a beauty like this garden dress.
Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Recap

A few weekends ago I attended the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. This is my second year attending the polo match and I have to say, it has become my favorite day of the year. I had so much fun drinking rosé with my friends all day laughing, dancing, and watching the match. I went with Emily, Allie, Dana, and Elle. Once again we were in the Rosé Garden which is a tented area with lounge couches and lots of beautiful Instagram moments. I wore this floral dress from Gal Meets Glam. Originally I wanted to wear it in the yellow color, but unfortunately it was backordered and wouldn’t arrive in time for the big day. I ended up buying the blue one instead and am really happy I did. I love this dress, the print is so beautiful and the bow-tie straps really gives it an extra layer of feminine touch.
