When we think of spring fashion, gingham usually comes to mind. It’s a pattern that will always be timeless. Although I gravitate mostly towards floral prints, gingham is not one that I shy away from. I recently bought these cute slingback pumps and have been enjoying styling them with different outfits (seen here). What I love about the print is that it looks good in any color and with any clothing item. From classic navy button ups to red headbands to two-toned dresses, there is a gingham style for everyone this spring.

Shopbop Event Of The Season Sale
Since Sunday I have been in a somewhat sour mood. Seems like everything is going haywire, nothing is working correctly. My computer has been acting weird, my body hurts, I am forgetting to do things on my to-do list which is frustrating me, it feels like everyone is grabbing at me from all ends, and I was offered an incredible opportunity in a few weeks that I can’t do because of scheduling and I am really bummed out about it. All of it is not the end of the world or nothing that can’t be fixed just throwing myself a pity-party and milking my bad mood. Thank goodness the Shopbop Event of the Season Sale started today to brighten my mood and for some retail therapy. Take up to 25% off items (unfortunately there are some items that are excluded) with code EVENT19. There are SO many amazing items to snatch for the summer that I highly suggest taking advantage of this sale! Here are a few items on my list.
5 Fun Facts About Me
turtleneck // skirt c.o // headband // nude heels // sunglasses // handbag c/o
Last month marked my 5 year anniversary of blogging– my blogiversary! I can’t believe it has been 5 years!! Time really goes by fast. It feels like yesterday I was creating a vision board and coding my website (that looked like I coded it myself ha). At the same time, however, so much has happened since then; A TON of growth and improvement in content, lots of brand partnerships, experiences I only dreamed about, friendships that I created, and my own personal growth. Although my blog and myself have improved over the years there is still so much more I want to do, want to learn, want to experience, and want to perfect and improve.
Spring Blazers
scalloped blazer // t-shirt c/o // jeans (similar) // nude heels // circle bag // pearl headband // sunglasses
I have been sharing different ways you can spice up your workwear, from this pink suit to this lilac one. Today lets talk about spring blazers. From florals to stripes to bright colors, there are many spring-like blazers that you can wear to the office or casually out on the town. I have personally been wearing this scalloped blazer, styled both casually and professionally, everywhere. I love the minimalist look to it with a subtle scalloped detailing. It’s perfect to wear with just about anything! Since my job is wear whatever you like, I’ve been styling my spring blazers a little more casually with a t-shirt underneath and jeans with heels. Blazers are a great 3rd piece to throw on. Especially when the weather is not yet warm enough for skin to sun contact, but not cold enough for a real jacket. All you have to do to complete an outfit is throw on a blazer. It can spice up your outfit with a pattern or print or compliment it with a neutral look. However you style your spring blazer, have fun with your work outfits this spring.
