Winter is here and it’s chilly outside! Brrr! Trying to push against the wind is a workout in itself. During the winter I tend to wear a lot of black and the only pop of color I have is my red wind-blown face. While black is certainly a timeless look, winter whites have made its way into being a refreshing, chic way to dress. I know there is the age old saying of no white after Labor Day, but I believe you can throw that rule out the window. Wearing white is a must for your winter wardrobe.

The easiest way to wear white is through a cozy sweater. If you haven’t noticed by now, I have been wearing this turtleneck sweater with almost every outfit. It’s a simple garment to style; can be worn with jeans, trousers, or a skirt. If you feel wearing all white makes you look like the Adominal Snowman, add some pop of color. Here I styled my winter whites with grey over-the-knee boots and a grey plaid over-sized coat. The color retains the softness of the aesthetics. Whether you go all monochromatic or add just a splash, wearing white will make you feel and look ready for a winter wonderland.
