Today is the day!! Blaire’s collection with Halogen x Atlantic Pacific for Nordstrom has officially launched!! Two weeks ago I was fortunate to see a preview of the collection and I was basically drooling over everything. The collection is made up of 150 items all under $250 from dresses to outerwear to accessories and shoes. I have been doing finger exercises all weekend to prepare them to go into battle; I must purchase the items that I want faster than everybody else. I have my eye on this bow top, faux fur stole, this plaid blazer, this tweed jacket … who am I kidding, I want it all!! If we have learned anything from previous blogger x brand collaborations, it is that items will sell out QUICKLY! Happy shopping!!

One of the most popular shoe trends at the moment are mules. This fall season I have found myself gravitating more towards this trend than any other style of shoes. Maybe it’s because my closet is lack there of. It’s also because I have noticed my flats collection has become, well, sad looking; they are old, worn looking. Most of the shoes that I have bought over the past few years have been heels or kitten heels. A few weeks ago I attended an event that my feet were basically repelling high heels. I found myself wishing I had flats on instead, but realized I didn’t have any flats to wear. Now this is changing.

As an easy, everyday outfit I love to throw on a pair of jeans, a simple white top with a blazer over it. Blazers for women do not have to always be so formal, they can be fun, colorful, and casual. It’s one of my favorite fall outfits to wear. It’s easy to throw on and still look elevated while being comfortable.
