Every season brands and designers have a certain print or pattern that is significant to the current collection. Whether it’s themed pineapples, gingham, or a certain color, you will see the print in almost every garment. When Tory Burch introduced her Hicks Garden summer collection I was instantly smitten by it. I had to have it in some form or another as the coloring and print was too beautiful to pass on. It gives a 60’s vibe that it playful, fun, and chic.

There are a few times when my everyday look needs to be more than just athleisure wear. Days when I am heading to a a quick meeting where shorts and a tank top or a throw on dress does not suffice. And then there are days when I feel like dressing up a little more, because, why not? A midi skirt is a perfect element to any outfit for any occasion. Next weekend I am heading to the 11th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in New Jersey. I have been trying to go to this for many years now, probably since I first moved to NYC. Unfortunately every year I have had something like a wedding or bachelorette that would land on the same date causing me to miss it. Finally this year I have the weekend free and I am going! It has been on my bucket list to attend a polo match and I can not wait for this day to come. I am attending the match with a few other bloggers in the Rosé Garden. The Rosé Garden is a VIP section of the polo match on the other side of the field from the general admission ticket holders.
