New York Fashion Week has finally come to an end. Although I am sad, my feet are happy to no longer wear heels all day for a week straight. I spent most of the week at events and seeing a few shows. I wish I could of have attended more shows, but attending events are just as important. I meet some amazing new bloggers and industry people. It was an incredible week filled with fashion and that is what I love the most.

On our final full day of Charleston it was my birthday!! I went over to my parents hotel to have breakfast. We decided to leave downtown and explore other areas of Charleston. The runway may have spring vibes, the street style is all about fall trends. Even though every brand was presenting their spring ’18 collection during New York Fashion Week, I still found plenty of fall inspiration. One of the best parts of fashion week is people watching, checking out everyone’s outfits. It is always fun to see how people style themselves. I saw many, many different styles and trends; some odd, some that were god-send, and some that were relatable. There were 3 fall trends in particular that I continuously saw on every it girl this past week: white ankle boots, wide leg pants, and yellow/ gold tone attire.

Our second day in Charleston (read first day here), we decided to do some more exploring. I had a list of things to see and today was the day to do it. First we took a carriage ride through the historical homes and The Battery. It was pretty cool to learn about what buildings went through the wars, the detailing of the houses and why they were made that way, and how the town has change throughout the years. I knew Charleston was a historic town, but I had no idea how much history was still left in the streets and homes. Pretty cool to see! The houses are gorgeous and huge, giving me major #goals.
