We may currently be in a fake spring, and we may be looking forward to warmer weather. However, we are still very much in winter– the groundhog did see his shadow. Unfortunately. I haven’t completely neglected my winter wardrobe or shopping for cold weather items. Even though I am tired of my current wardrobe, a great way to refresh and ease my winter blues is with new clothes. A cute new sweater to wear. Perhaps new ankle boots to wear throughout the spring. sweater dress c/o- on sale!

One way I am transitioning from winter to spring is through sweater dresses. The cute and cozy dress style is a must-have for the seasons. It keeps you warm during the cold season by pairing it with ankle boots or knee high boots. Then in the spring time switch to flats or kitten heels. I currently have a few sweater dresses in my closet, but there is always room for more. This button down sweater dress I thought would be cute for winter and spring. I love the lavender color of this knit fabric with cute gold heart buttons in front. It looks like an oversize cardigan, which is why I love it. It’s different from my other sweater dresses. It would be cute to wear for Galentine’s Day or a casual Valentine’s Day date, then worn throughout the spring season. (more…)

Hill House Home has launched their spring collection! As if I needed an excuse to buy another nap dress. This collection is filled with spring florals and classic gingham prints. There is much more to this collection than the famous nap dress; there are tops, shorts, ruffle blouses, skirts, sweaters, and swimsuits.
