If there is one thing I look for in a dress is it’s versatility. A dress that I can wear from day to night simply by switching my shoes. It’s no surprise that one of my favorite dress styles is the smocked dress. A smock dress is comfortable to wear and looks great on all shapes and sizes. While smock dresses are usually worn in the spring and summer, they are just as prevalent in the fall season. We always think of wedding season falling upon the spring and summertime. From beach weddings to destination, our spring and summer seasons are filled with celebrations of love. But it does not stop there. Fall weddings are becoming more and more popular. I have been to plenty of fall weddings in my days and enjoy the autumn aesthetics and the crisp air. This year I only have one wedding, my cousins, which is in early December. I may hold off a little on purchasing dresses for the entire weekend, but it doesn’t stop me from shopping around. (more…)

Now that autumn is on the horizon, I am slowly starting to shop for pre-fall items to wear. Clothes that will help me transition from hot summer days to the crisp fall weather.
