golf

Today marks the official start of The Masters. It’s only been within the last few years that I have found myself getting into golf. It’s not that I disliked the sport before, it’s more that I have a new appreciation for it. I find it soothing to watch. I especially enjoy The Masters and The Memorial Tournament (which I have frequent throughout the years as being from Ohio). You may be surprised to hear this, but I am not the best golfer. Shocking, I know. I am, however, quite the putt-putt golfer if I do say so myself. The last time I went golfing was after college with a few friends. I may have played 2 holes then retired to the golf cart to drink for the rest of the day. Now THAT was fun! (more…)

When packing for my vacation to Marco Island, the item on top of my list was my floral maxi dress. I bought this dress last year and have worn it religiously throughout the spring, summer, and fall. It was the perfect dress for vacation for those cool nights out to dinner. It is comfortable enough to wear at home as a house dress and stylish enough to go out on the town in. I am planning on wearing it to church on Easter.  (more…)

Last week I shared affordable spring clothing from Uniqlo, so I thought I would continue the trend this week. While I was browsing online, shopping as per usual, I stumbled upon this pretty floral dress. When I found out it was from Old Navy, I quickly went to their website to check out their new spring collection. There are so many cute pieces for this season; from classic white dresses, to gingham pieces, to everyday dresses. This linen romper would be great for vacation. These high-rise pants is something you can wear on the weekends as well as wear to work. And this gingham skirt is perfect for Easter. Old Navy has a lot of cute affordable options to wear this spring. There is even a sale going on at the moment– Up to 60% off everything! (more…)

As Easter quickly approaches, I am starting to shop for a dress to wear to celebrate. I will be staying in New York for the holiday. This means I will go to church and then have an Easter feast of my own. There will be no Easter baskets or hunting for eggs for me… unfortunately. I do love to hunt for Easter eggs. Since my day will be less festive as most, I will be looking for a more casual dress that I can wear repeatedly during the spring and summer season like this smock dress. However, if I were to be with family and having a big celebration, I would look at something a little more elevated like this ruffle dress. Whether you are going all out for Easter, having an intimate celebration, or just looking for a spring dress, here are 20 dresses to shop for this season.  (more…)
