Mother’s Day is in a little over 2 weeks away! I am starting to think about what to gift my mom this year. I usually like to get her something for the home like a vase or hand towels. Often times I will gift her something to use while she entertains like a serving tray or wine glasses. In the spring and summertime she likes to garden, so gardening tools or gloves would be welcomed and well used. I also like to get her something she may not ask for but would appreciate having like a pair of earrings or a new tote. What I love most about floral dresses is that you can wear most to any occasion. A floral dress works well on vacation or at a wedding. You can lounge in one or dress to the nines. When it comes to fashion jewelry for the spring and summer, nothing is more quintessential than raffia. Adding a raffia statement earring to your outfit really completes the summer look. I wear these raffia lantern earrings every chance I get. I love how they make a statement, but do not overwhelm the outfit with it’s natural coloring.
