As Thanksgiving nears we are starting to ponder what to wear while enjoying delicious turkey. When the weather starts to cool, my everyday outfits switch from casual dresses to athleisure wear. Something easy and comfortable to wear while on the go and while working from home. In fact I think the majority of my outfits  during the week consist of leggings and a pullover. After a year of wearing sweatpants and not dressing up during the pandemic, I want my loungewear to be elevated. This way I still feel put together while being comfortable. One of the biggest trends this fall season is quilted jackets. From your classic Barbour to patchwork designs, quilted jackets is a must-have this season. A top selling item for me recently is this vineyard quilted jacquard jacket, and I can see why it is so popular. Contrary to popular belief, I do wear black; I am a New Yorker after all. In fact I wear black quite a lot during the fall and winter season. From black jeans to black blouses to black dresses, the majority of my seasonal fall and winter wardrobe is predominantly black. It’s the one color that you can wear to any and all occasions. It’s one that you can reach for quickly and know that you look chic and put together. And when it comes to little black dresses, it’s the most staple piece in any woman’s closet.
