As someone who rather wear a dress rather than a pair of jeans, I try to hold off on fall attire until I absolutely have to. One way I do this is by transitioning my summer dresses into a fall look. This green floral dress can be worn well into the fall season by pairing it with white booties or sneakers. Throw on a sweater over it; creating a sweater / skirt combination, paired with booties for a fall look. Summer dresses really can be versatile in the crisp season. As the world slowly but surely reopens, many of you are heading back into the office. Whether it’s for a few days a week or permanently back, you may want to shop for new workwear. To freshen up your wardrobe making it easier to be back at work. Heading back to the office may feel like the first day of school where you want to dress to impress. Especially after a year’s worth of zoom meetings where you barely brushed your hair and wore a nice blouse with pajamas pants. Although I work from home permanently, it doesn’t deter me away from a great matching suit set or a classic tweed dress. This time next week I will be sitting court side in the Arthur Ashe stadium watching the first round of the US Open. It’s still TBD who will be playing; whether it’s men’s or women’s singles. Although I am hoping it’s someone like Murray or Osaka, I am perfectly happy with watching anyone play. I just want to watch tennis in person. (more…)

During this past summer things here in New York seem to be back to normal. People are out and about; dining at restaurants, roaming around museums, gathering with friends. It’s been lovely to see. On top of everything reopening and people enjoying their lives again, date night is back. Whether you are in a relationship or still scrolling through Bumble, romance is not dead. You walk along the city streets and you see couples hand in hand, laughing over drinks, and kissing on stoops. New York is filled with love.   (more…)
