Today is the start of the annual Nordstrom Anniversary sale! Right now only the Early Access Icon status can shop the sale today. Ambassadors can start on July 14th. Influencers can start on the 16th. Then it is open to the public on the 28th. No matter what tier you are, this is a great time to shop or save the items you want. If you are an Ambassador tier or public, save the items to your cart so the second the sale opens up to you all you have to do is press purchase. Although this is a great time to shop for fall and winter clothes, I think it’s even better to shop home and beauty. Get things you have had your eye on for your home like silk pillows (which I have and absolutely love!) or a vacuum. The 4th of July is right around the corner and it’s time to start planning what to wear for the holiday. Celebrating Independence Day will look different for all of us. Some will attend backyard barbecues so will need something comfortable to wear like a romper or a popover dress. Some will head to the beach all day and will want to wear a cute new one-piece swimsuit. And some will attend an upscale party where a smock dress or a nice white dress will do. In UA, where I am from, the 4th of July celebration starts early in the morning for a parade. The festivities continue throughout the day until late in the evening when the town gather’s at the park for fireworks. It’s a fun day filled with friends, good food and drinks, and celebrating Independence Day. (more…)
