There are many collaborations that have gotten me excited over the years. High-end designers doing capsule pieces for affordable brands. Short White Dresses For The Summer
white dress // headband (similar) // earrings c/o
Of all the dresses I wear – the florals, the stripes, and the bright colors – I always turn to white dresses in the summer. Maybe it’s the easy breezy sentiment to the warm season that white dresses give. Perhaps it’s the sleekness of this minimalistic look that drawls our attention. Whatever the reason, my summer staple attire are white dresses. For me, whether I am lounging or running errands, I always opt for a short white dress. I pair it with sneakers for a casual look to go shopping or throw on a pair of statement earrings to elevate the outfit if I am having brunch with friends. Classic Spring Look
button up shirt // high rise jeans (similar) // sandals // Ralph Lauren silk scarf // handbag

RE-IMAGINED J.CREW
The other day right as I was about to throw on my new light weight jacket from J.Crew, I noticed an unusual tag. A tag that I have never seen before from the beloved company. In green colors it said “Re-Imagined J.Crew”. I immediately knew what this meant– J.Crew was finally taking a sustainable approach. I went on their website to check out more of this new strategy. From 100% organically sourced to recycle material, they are producing fabrics that are better for the planet. By 2025 all of their products will be sustainable. Their wool will be machine washable. The cotton will be certified organic. The silks will have a safe dye. Other fabrics will come from responsible sources. This is a great step in the right direction and I am so proud of J.Crew to doing it! Here are a few items from their sustainable collection. I already have this white top, this other white top, this dress, this beach coverup, and this lightweight jacket. Oh and I have my eye on this white dress— on sale!
