Have you been enjoying the snow these last few days? I spent a little time in the snow playing; throwing snow balls, making a snowman. Winter is here and thriving. The groundhog saw his shadow and we will be experiencing winter for 6 more weeks. As much as I have fun in the snow, I am much more of a summer gal. There are already so many cute spring dresses that are out right now that I currently want. Until then I am going to bundle up in my faux fur coat. (more…)
The other day I was mindlessly walking around the city when I looked into a store window only to see a Valentine’s Day display. I thought it was a little early to already put out decor for the holiday, but in truth it is right around the corner. Is this year going fast or does time simple not exist anymore? With so many things closed down, it causes a limited amount of date night options. Valentine’s Day could seem a little frivolous to you because of this. Maybe you thought that before we were in a pandemic. To me, I think Valentine’s Day is still important, maybe more than ever. It’s the celebration of the ones you love- even if Cupid has not hit you with an arrow. It’s about celebrating love; love for family, love for friends, self love, love for your significant other, and love for community. As a lover of coats I have to say, one particular style draws me in the most. The wrap coat is and will always be chic to me. The belt cinches the waist that gives you shape while adding a detail to your outfit. I could fill my closet with wrap coats and be perfectly happy. (more…)

Despite the forecast on brand’s website with spring collections, it is very much still winter. As much as I would love to purchase this dress and gallop around the city in it, I would most definitely catch a cold. I don’t know about you, but I am still shopping for winter clothes.
