With the spring season comes many rainy days. This past Sunday the rain never stopped, making it a stay-at-home watching movies all day kind of day. I didn’t mind it, I find the rain on Sunday’s to be peaceful. I got to wear my cute pink feathered pajamas and lounged on the couch. I know we are all tired of lounging around the house. I, myself, have a hard time doing nothing these days. But I will take any chance I can get to wear my feathered pajamas. (more…)

Last week we got a taste of spring with 60 degree weather. It felt like heaven. Now we are back to cold temps and a snowstorm looming on the horizon. I am ready to shed off my puffy coat and ear muffs for spring-like attire. One of my favorite spring styles to wear is a floral skirt with a lightweight sweater. It’s the perfect transitional outfit. The sweater keeps you staying cozy and warm while the skirt reminds you that the sun it out and the weather is nice. (more…)

These past few days of sunshine and spring-like weather has made me excited for summer. For lazy days spent by the pool or hopefully the ocean, reading a book and getting tan. I like to consider myself a cardigan aficionado. I have collected a fair share of the beloved button up sweater over the years.    In my 20’s, cardigans were part of my daily uniform. I would wear them to work to keep warm. I would wear one at-home to lounge in. And I have been known to wear a cardigan out to bars and clubs. Over the years I have incorporated other types of cozy knits into my closet like oversized sweaters and turtlenecks, but I will forever be loyal to the classic cardigan. It’s easy to throw on over a plain t-shirt, a blouse, or a dress. You can even wear a cardigan alone, tucked into a skirt, high-waisted jeans, or shorts. (more…)
