As we quickly approach the start of spring I am getting excited for all the things that the season has to offer. Flowers will start to bloom, the weather will be warmer, and we can spend more time outside. Although the start of spring is at the end of March, I’ve always considered Easter to truly be the starting point. No matter what the weather may be, everyone puts on their brightest, most spring-like apparel to celebrate. Easter is one of my favorite holidays and it’s because of this. Today’s the day! The Neely & Chloe x Julia Berolzheimer collection has officially launched. I have been a long time fan of Neely & Chloe and also of Julia, who I think has impeccable taste. When I first heard they were collaborating I was on pins and needles waiting to see the final products. I knew the collection was going to be feminine and beautiful, and it did not disappoint. Last week we had a taste of early spring. The snow melted, the sun was out, and a few brave people were wearing shorts. While I may not run around town in spring dresses just yet, I am opting for colorful clothing. Anything to brighten up my otherwise dreary winter clothes. (more…)

There may be a winter storm happening outside, but inside my apartment it’s starting to look like spring. I don’t know about you, but I am starting to get tired of my sweats. I am ready to bring back housedresses. Sure on days like today when the ground is covered in snow I want to throw on the comfiest of clothes and wrap myself with my blanket. However, this does not mean I can’t start shopping for housedresses to wear this spring and summer season. (more…)
