Although shopping for a handbag right now seems redundant, sometimes you can’t pass up a cute rattan clutch or straw beach bag. As summer slowly starts to come to an end, straw and rattan handbags will be going on sale. A perfect time to grab one or two that you have had your eye on for next summer.
Although brands are slowly rolling out their fall collections, I am still on the hunt for summer dresses. There is currently a heatwave in NYC, it feels as if it is 100 degrees and all I want to wear are flowy dresses. Something I can throw on, feel comfortable, and still look chic. With so many different styles and prints, it takes all of my will power not to buy everything I stumble upon. This is why I need to shop for affordable dresses. When I was in Ohio, my mom and I would drive to the Park of Roses to walk around the garden. For those of you who do not live in Columbus, Park of Roses is exactly how it sounds. It’s this huge park with baseball fields, playgrounds, standard park attributes, but it also has this large section filled with flowers and a beautiful water fountain. With a little research, I found out that Park of Roses is one of the largest public gardens in the U.S. They have a variety of roses like floribunda, damasks, gallicas, and centifolias, as well as perennials, herbs, bulbs, and ornamental trees.

Another day, another floral dress that I love to wear. But this time I am wearing it in… what’s that? A garden! My the coincidence of it all insert winking face. It’s no surprise that I have a deep love for floral dresses. From a maxi to mini dresses, I swoon over the beautiful feminine print. I mean my blog name doesn’t have blooms in it for no reason! My life is surrounded by flowers from my decor to my phone background to yes, the majority of my wardrobe.
