Mother’s Day is right around the corner. My how time is flying by. It’s nice that we have a day dedicated to the women in our lives that are always there to pick up us, support us, love us unconditionally, and teach us life lessons. But really, one day is not enough. Mother’s Day should be every day. Especially after the year we have had, our mother’s deserve the world. They taught homeschool while doing their full-time job. They made sure their kids were healthy and happy amongst chaos and uncertainty. And in my case, my mom had to listen to many tearful conversations about my future. She also drove 9 hours back and forth from Columbus to NYC many times just so I could be safe at home. The woman deserves a parade. But the next best thing would be to give her one of these great gift ideas for Mother’s Day. (more…)

Hoppy almost Easter! I always found Easter to be the real start of spring. It is after all the first time we pull out our brightest clothes to celebrate the occasion. Maybe you thought that before we were in a pandemic. To me, I think Valentine’s Day is still important, maybe more than ever. It’s the celebration of the ones you love- even if Cupid has not hit you with an arrow. It’s about celebrating love; love for family, love for friends, self love, love for your significant other, and love for community. What we need more than ever right now is to celebrate and spread love. (more…)
New Year’s Eve Decor
Soon we will be saying goodbye to 2020 and hello to a new year. After a year we have had, I am looking forward to what the new year brings. New Year’s Eve is the night we dress up in sequins, wear party hats, drink too much champagne, and if we are lucky, kiss someone when the ball drops at midnight. This year, however, we will be staying indoors and in comfy, cozy clothes. Although we will not be ringing in the new year at some fabulous party does not mean we can’t make our home look a little festive for the evening. Here are a few cute New Year’s Eve decor ideas for your at-home celebration.
