As a women I look up to women entrepreneurs. Those that seem to have it all; family, friends, successful careers and businesses. Drew Barrymore has been one that I have looked up to as a business woman and also as a light of positivity. We both share the same passion for photographing hearts we see around town or in random circumstances (I was doing it before she came out with her book… kindred spirits!). Anyway, last year Drew had a clothing line called Dear Drew that I adored. She had a pop-up in Soho that felt as if you were walking into her family room (because all of the furniture was actually from her home). Now Drew has a new venture: home.

A Winter Cozy Night In
Yesterday we discussed what to wear when going out on the town, today we are talking about something much more exciting: staying in. I love nothing more than when plans are cancelled on a snowy winter night and I get to put on comfy clothes and watch movies. This weekend it is suppose to snow here in New York and I am ready to hunker down on my couch with a bowl of popcorn and a marathon of movies.
Top 10: Duvet Covers
Lately I have been making some changes around my apartment. From buying new furniture to new hand towels to kitchen appliances to wall decor, I have been in need of a refresh. One last thing I do want to change up is my duvet cover. It is a soft green and blue paisley print from Pottery Barn that I got almost 9 years ago. Although I love it, I think it is time for a new one. When it comes to duvet covers, and decorating in general, I tend to gravitate towards light shades of blue, green and white, with a splash of pink and yellow. After searching a little I have found a few that I am liking. Not sure if and when I will end up buying a new duvet cover, but hopefully soon. Here are my top 10 choices thus far.
A Cozy Night In
With very little research I am much convinced that my spirit animal is a bear. Because I too love to hibernate during the winter. It’s been a little chilly here in New York and I am preparing myself for many cozy nights in. I am what you would call an ambivert. I exhibit qualities of someone who is both extroverted and introverted. I love to go out and be social and can talk to anyone about anything. I like a good party and being with friends and family. But, I also really love to stay home alone and have no problems with staying in for an entire weekend, not socializing with anyone. I can also go places alone (and have); movies, restaurants, parties, events, etc. I am both outgoing and shy. A woman of mystery……. which personality are you going to get today? Stay tuned to find out.
