As the holidays are upon us, if COVID permits, we will be traveling to see loved ones to celebrate. Whether you are gearing up for a road trip across the country or heading for a quick weekend getaway, traveling in style has not been canceled. I will be driving to Ohio for the holiday season and let’s just say, I do not travel lightly. If there is a 20% chance of me wearing it or using it, it’s coming with me. Anyway, a huge blessing in traveling is weekender bags. Weekender bags are much easier to travel with if it’s a short trip or a staycation. You do not have to lug around a huge suitcase when you can be easy breezy with a weekender bag. If you are traveling for a longer period of time, like I am, a weekender bag is great to pack extra items like shoes, purses, books, makeup, etc. This way you leave more room in your suitcase for clothes. For the start of my Holiday Gift Guide Series I wanted to tackle what to get the family member or friend who is a traveler. Or perhaps they want to start traveling and a gift will make their adventures much easier. I’ve gathered items for the jetsetter who likes to travel in style like a designer bag belt to keep their hands free, a folding hair dryer, a chic backpack that also makes for a handbag, and a stylish passport. For those who like to get their hands dirty– climb, hike, explore– an action camera will help them capture the moment, a telescope for sightseeing, and a travel laundry kit. Every adventurer, however, needs nice luggage to hold all of their belongings (cause if they are like me, they enjoy overpacking), a notebook to jot down their day to day activities, and a tech emergency kit because you can’t miss the perfect Insta-shot.
