nordstrom early access sale

Still thinking about a certain item from this past fall or maybe there is a beauty device you’ve been eyeing but it’s a little out of our price range? Well today is the day you finally snatch the item you can’t stop thinking about. Today marks the start of the Nordstrom Early Access Anniversary Sale! Right now the sale is only available to card holders. Believe me when I say getting a Nordstrom card is SO worth it. The checkout process if easier, plus you get rewards.  The sale will open up to the general public on July 20th and will end on August 5th for all. Plenty of time to shop, shop, and shop!

As the sale progresses Nordstrom will add more items to the Anniversary Sale, so don’t forget to check back here at B&B for my must have items. I have gathered together some of  favorites from the Nordstrom Early Access Sale like dresses, fall and winter coats, jeans and trousers, tops and sweaters, beauty exclusives, shoes, and much more. It’s an easy way to navigate through the sale for a quick way to shop.

Happy Friday!! How was your 4th of July celebration? Mine was nice. Mostly spent with my family. We started the day off with watching the Upper Arlington (my home town) parade. It’s UA’s 100th year anniversary so the theme was “A Cherished Past. A Golden Future”. The parade was amazing as usual with trips down memory lane of class reunions, seeing the high school cheerleaders (I was a cheerleader in high school), the marching band, great floats from different streets around town, and war veterans. The morning was perfect except for the terribly hot weather. It was almost unbearable. My poor grandmother had to skip the parade because of the heat. We made it through the hour and a half parade, but boy were we glad to get home to the air conditioning.

Happy Friday and happy almost 4th of July!! I am heading home to Columbus on Monday for a week to celebrate the 4th with my family and to see Taylor Swift!!! I CAN NOT WAIT!! Taylor is going to be amazing! I hope she brings someone on stage with her. Last time she was in Columbus she did not have anyone make a surprise cameo. If I could choose someone I am hoping either Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake, or John Legend (he is from Ohio). We will see!

As an active kid growing up the thought of protecting my skin from the sun never crossed my mind. I thought using SPF sunscreen was for sensitive skin and mine easily bronzed. The only time I would put SPF on my body is when we were down south in Mexico or one of the Islands where the sun was much more intense. But for the days I laid out by the pool, the only lotion touching my Ohio skin was tanning oil. I didn’t want protection from the sun, I wanted a tan body. During the winter seasons when you still need sun protection I never thought twice about my moisturizer having SPF. Why would I need SPF when I was mostly covered, I thought.
