Now that spring is halfway through and summer is quickly approaching, it is time to talk about the official footwear of the season– sandals. There is a new trend a-brewin and it is one that I am on board with. From Chanel to ASOS, the pearl sandal trend is every where. It may not be a new concept, but I am all for this pretty embellishment. Pearls are my favorite gem. I wear pearl studded earrings everyday and my bracelet has pearl accents.
I don’t know about you but I got a lot of Mother’s Day Gift ideas from the Met Gala last night. I think my mom would look great in Katy Perry’s Beetlejuice inspired dress. Only kidding……. or am I mom?
All jokes aside I am happy to shower my best friend with gifts of appreciation next weekend. She deserves it! After putting up with my sister and me for all of these years, the woman should be awarded a medal of honor.

Happy Friday!! Anyone else feel like this week dragged on? TGIF, for real. In the beginning of the week I was sick. I had an awful sore throat that I was convinced was strep throat that was ultimately going to kill me. After going to the doctor I found out it was just a really bad sore throat. Anyway, I slept most of the beginning of this week trying to feel better…. and still, I thought this week dragged on. Now I am not 100%, but do feel better than I did last weekend.
