When it comes to my shoe collection, well lets just say I stick to the basics. Besides leopard, I do not have any fun prints or wild colored pumps. All of my shoes can be categorized as neutrals. But I do not mind, I like having classic colored shoes that will last me for years. In the winter I always wear black boots, and in the summer I will wear a nude or blush tone colored heels, sandals, or flats. I should be a little more fun than boring old neutrals… but I am not… and I am not sorry about it either.

Happy Friday!! I have a busy, busy week and weekend ahead of me. I have two video shoots, one photoshoot and two events! For one of my video shoots I am using Glam Squad-– have you ever heard of them? A friend of mine recommended them to me, so I am going to try their services for the first time this coming Monday. They are like beauty fairies that will save your life. At your house or whatever location you desire, they will do your makeup and/or hair for you. I grew up dancing so when I do my own make up it looks like a dance competition– stage makeup. So this gal needs help to look like I actually know what I am doing. I figured a video shoot was a great way to save treat myself.

Tomorrow marks J.Crew’s first #nationalstripesday holiday! I don’t know about you but stripes are usually one of my go-to patterns for the warmer seasons. Nothing is more classic than the timeless nautical pattern.
